Subject:   The Power Of A Well-Lived Life

Genesis 39:2 - 4 "And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian and his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand.  And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand."

Many people are great communicators or speakers and are able to convey in words exactly what people need to hear to get up and get moving.  They can often motivate and move millions with their well-spoken words.  It may be easy to move those who are already subjecting themselves to your message, but what about those who are not for your cause.  What about those who are opposed to everything you're saying?  Nothing moves people and makes change possible like a well-lived life.

Joseph had that type of life.  Against all odds, Joseph was able to succeed because he simply lived well.  The scripture identifies how he was able to do this.  Firstly, God was with him.  When God is with you, you will always be successful.  Secondly, when God is with you, the unbelieving world, even though opposed, will see that God is with you.  Some may still hate you and rebel against you, but you will find grace in the sight of many.

Today we should understand that we can't force people to change and we can't make them believe everything that we tell them, but we can live well and in living well is much power and that power is the power of God.  Live well.
