Subject: Thanks Living
Psalms 100:3-4 - "Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name."
How honorable it is for us to set aside a day for giving thanks. It is my prayer that this will spur all of us to the reality that we should always be thankful. As Paul says in 1Thessalonians 5:18 - "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." Once again we find God's will being stated. Yet another blow against those still trying to find God's will for their lives. Here it is in black and white.
All of the food we have today is due to the fact that we are "the sheep of His pasture." Today, we are grazing on His lands and eating His food. For this we should be eternally thankful and for those who do not understand this, I wonder who they are thanking today.
For those who know, let's bless His Holy Name today and everyday. Happy Thanksgiving and let's be Thanks Living.
