Subject: Transformers - More Than Meets The Eye
2 Corinthians 11:13 - 15 "For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works."
I don't know if you've seen the trailers to the movie, but perhaps you remember the little toys called "Transformers." It eventually became a cartoon and it had a theme song that said, "Transformers, more than meets the eye..." I've actually never ever seen the show, but I think I'll see the movie. It looks interesting to see a car or a stereo turn into a super-sized robot. I think it was a pretty good concept for a toy or TV show. It's not such a good concept if you're walking around this world spiritually unaware.
See Satan was the original transformer. Now he and his ministers have the mission of deceiving people into believing that they are agents of good or of God, while luring them into a trap of death, pain and destruction. Here are a few examples: Perhaps you thought that that TV show was okay to watch. Beware it's a "Transformer" and it's going to eat you alive one day. Your new house was nice and cozy and just what you had always wanted. Watch out because it is subject to transformation and can be the noose around your neck. Sometimes the "Transformers" take on human form. A really nice person befriends you and later you find out that they were there to break up your marriage, family and home. These "Transformers" are everywhere. It shows you the lengths Satan will go through to get you.
Today, be on the lookout for "The Transformers." As the song says, "more than meets the eye." However, if we undergo our own transformation by the renewing of our mind, it gets really easy to see Satan's transformers.
