Subject: Talk To The Teacher
Acts 13:32-33 - "And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers, God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee."
My high school, Willowridge, will hold its graduation service today, but I won't be in attendance. However, neither will a large number of senior students who failed to meet the requirements for graduation. Some of them failed our state's standardized testing exam and some simply failed. There were also some who received no credit for their courses this year because they had too many absences. There are actually many reasons for one not to graduate, but the bottom line is, if you don't fulfill the requirements, you don't graduate.
So how do we as students of the cross fulfill the requirements for graduation? Well we do what all failing students should do; we talk to the teacher. See "The Teacher" knows all of the answers and can determine whether or not we have met the requirements. In our case if we would but earnestly consult with the teacher, we would find that the teacher has also fulfilled the requirements.
The school is eternal life and it requires a perfect score for graduation. If you're missing credits because of failing tests thus far or because of too many absences, I would suggest talking to "The Teacher" immediately. Graduation could be today.
