Subject:  Write It Down 

Mark 4:14-15  "The sower soweth the word.  And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts."

I've been having this problem lately.  For some reason I can't seem to keep a writing pen in my pocket.  This is a crisis for me because I often receive messages, that I know are from God, and if I don't write them down immediately, they vanish.  That's often were most of these devotionals come from as well.  I've learned that the messages can come at anytime, night or day, so I try to keep a pen and a piece of paper in my pocket so that I can immediately pen the thought when He sends it.  

We need to be aware of these subtle attacks by Satan.  His job is to keep us from letting the word of God take root in our lives.  Satan knows that if God's seed begins to take root in our lives daily, that seed will grow and grow into a mighty tree planted by the waters and it will not be moved.  

God is sowing His word into our lives daily if we have hearts (and pens) prepared to receive it.  Today, ask yourself in every situation what God is saying to you.  Then record that thought.  You will be amazed at all He is saying.
