Subject: The Weatherman
Job 37:16 - "Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?"
Have you ever wondered why we have so many people forecasting the weather? It's funny to watch too because it seems that they all say the same thing. Our current forecast was for rain for the weekend and then it changed to a clear weekend and now they're saying thunderstorms today and then a clear weekend. It's the same report on the radio and TV. The irony of it all is that we tune in and listen to frequently find out that they were totally off the mark. Our plans, now foiled, all because we based them on the weatherman.
The forecast given by God is never wrong. If His plan calls for clear weather, it is just that. After all, who controls the weather? This is true literally and figuratively. If the forecast for your life appears cloudy and gray, consult the weatherman. The good news about it is that He can change the weather just for you and even if He keeps rain in the forecast, He will provide an umbrella or shelter from the rain.
If we can make plans based on the person giving weather forecasts on TV or radio, then surely we can trust "the Weatherman" who "balances the clouds." Let's begin to plan based on His forecast. In Him there's always a brighter day coming.
