Subject: Enlarge My Territory
1 Chronicles 4:9-10 - "Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!"
When I cook for others, I like for them to have an appetite to eat and enjoy the food that I'm cooking for them! There is nothing worse than slaving in the kitchen...and then no one wants the food you've prepared. Now, on the other hand...if you're saying "yum, that was great! Can you make some more?..." I'll cook all night!
I said that to say I believe that God is the same way....he wants us to pray that He would enlarge our territory expand our coast or borders, or capacities. Remove limits on what we can do and who we can become...to receive what He has for us. To make our storage empty and available (a good way to make your storage empty, is to fast and pray, but that's a whole other devotion.) for NOT JUST FINANCIAL blessings, but the blessing to understand His will and His way.
God is cooking and has cooked up a whole bunch of stuff for each and every one of us. He's just waiting for us to pray that He would enlarge our territory, waiting for us to have the capacity...so that we can have an appetite to receive all that He has to offer! (Pressed down, shaken together, and running over)!
In Him,
Coco
