Subject:  Real Church; Real Worship

Psalm 29:2 "Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness."

I've never attended Cowboy Church but it appears to be everything church was designed to be.  At one church in Wyoming, a man while working with an abused horse or unbroken horse, draws parallels to scripture.  At the end of the service, he is able to ride the horse.

The churches meet in self-constructed tents or outdoor pavilions and some meet in barns or on rodeo grounds.  One church in Alabama started meeting in a nightclub called, The Whiskey, of all things.  This isn't just a novel idea, it's real people wanting real worship.

I've always believed that worship happens wherever you are and in whatever you're into.  If you're into cowboys and horses, you can worship at Cowboy Church and that might be out in your pasture.  There should be housewife church, construction worker church, plumber church, retiree church, football church and any other vocation you can think of when it comes to worship of Christ.

God has created all things for His glory and when we see it that way, we can worship Him in everything that we do.  Today see your primary aim to be worship, then they can affix whatever else you're doing to that.  As for me, I'm looking for a bodybuilding, military, high-school teaching, bar b quer church.  Oh yea, that's where I'm worshipping now.
