Subject: A Perfect Love
1 John 2:5 - "But whoso keepeth His word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him."
Most men will mess up today. I'm not sure if that will apply to me, but as Valentine's Day is celebrated almost around the world, most, both men and women, will try to make an effort to impress their spouse or boyfriend/girlfriend. What if we never had to worry about properly expressing our love? What if we always did it without spending countless hours in the stores or online trying to order flowers and shopping for gifts. What if it just happened naturally? Well that would be a "perfect" love and in reality, that's where God can take us today.
See the word of God outlines clearly how we can have this type of love and it only requires one thing and that is obedience. God says that "to whosoever keeps His word, that He will perfect their love."
Today understand that you can't buy the perfect gift or give the perfect card, but you can have the perfect love and that is the love that is "perfected" by God when we keep His word and follow in obedience.
