Subject:  Merry Christmas

Psalms 37:4 - "Delight thyself also in the LORD:  and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart."

It was quite interesting to discover that "merry" is defined as delightful.  So when it comes to Christmas, in what do we delight ourselves?  Is it simply the "spirit" of the season or is it in Him?  I know we use the cliché, "He's the reason for the season", but do we really make ourselves merry in Him during this time or is there family frustration and fighting, rushing and running around to get the last present you need to buy or just a time of merriment for merriment's sake?

Today, we should think about "Merry" Christmas and see what is making us merry.
