Subject:  A Dog's Life

2Peter 2:22 - "But it has happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire." (reference to Proverbs 26:11)

Have you ever considered the life of a dog.  Dogs don't wake up and ask, "well God, what am I going to find out about you today?"  They don't spend time on their knees praying to hear God's voice to ensure that they are in God's will concerning their mate or the dog with whom they're mating.  Uhmm.  Dogs also don't spend time thanking God for the trials and hard times that are conforming them into the image of Christ.  When I think about it, some people actually live like dogs, which reminds me of the above scripture.   People who live a dog's life return to the same ole sins over and over again and never pause to consider why.  

Today, don't live a dog's life.  If you're throwing up your life all over the place, find out what's making you sick.  Whatever you do, don't return to the vomit.
