Subject:  Not Restless or Resting

Philippians 1:6 - "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ."

I've been running across quite a few passages lately that talk about the lengths that God will go through to help us, give us peace or keep us.  In Psalms, I read a passage that says "he shall not suffer thy foot to be moved.  He that keepeth thee will neither slumber nor sleep."  I read a passage yesterday in Isaiah 62 that  says, "For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth."  That speaks multitudes about the lengths that He will go to in order to achieve His purpose.

So as you go through today, feel the hope that in your current circumstances there is a God who isn't restless, neither is he resting.  He is working on your behalf to see that His good and perfect purpose is being accomplished in your life.
